Updates!
Well, it’s official. I am now a small business owner! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of the process and offered encouragement along the way! When they say business is not easy, I now know exactly what they mean! It’s not exactly that business is hard, it is just very complex in nature.
For those wondering, I’m still battling with Facebook. I had to pay $12 and become verified on Facebook in order to gain access to Meta’s support line. After hours going back and forth with support, I have “successfully” submitted an appeal with Meta to have my domain reviewed and unblocked. They say I should hear something within 72 hours, so hopefully that is legit.
Otherwise, business is going well! Had my first customer and about five other potential customers. I am also applying to enter a business pitch competition to compete for a chance to win a cash prize for start up funds, as well as gain exposure for the company and network with other small business owners in the nearby areas!
