Cisco Insider Champions

For those who haven’t yet heard, I had the honor of being admitted into the Cisco Insider Champions program earlier this week. This program focuses on tech advocacy and helping the next generation of techs find their interests within the field. Whether that’s networking, security, engineering, programming, computer repair, or anything technology-related, it is up to us to help those who are interested in finding a home. As champions, we will work directly with Cisco to improve our product knowledge as well as improve soft skills and marketing skills to help make an impact on a future tech’s life.

Tech Conferences

Last week I was able to go to my second ever tech conference over in Portsmouth, VA. I highly recommend going to a conference if you ever have the opportunity. For those who don’t know, Nueralink is a project founded by Elon Musk with the hopes of altering medical disabilities and damage to the brain back to normal functionality through a chip implanted into the patient’s head. This week advancements were made as the first Nueralink patient, a quadriplegic, was able to interact with a computer and play a game of chess all with the power of his mind and the implanted Nueralink chip.
